Meet Rush

Rush Darwish is an accomplished and innovative community organizer with a remarkable track record spanning over 20 years in the fields of humanitarian work, media, business, and civic engagement. His passion for making a positive impact has driven him to create and establish multiple non-profit organizations and initiatives that have benefited countless individuals and communities.

One of his notable accomplishments is the establishment of a Chamber of Commerce specifically catering to the Middle Eastern-North African retail community. This initiative has provided invaluable support and resources to businesses within this sector, fostering growth and collaboration.

Recognizing the importance of empowering underrepresented groups, Rush also founded a Small Business Development Center that focuses on equipping women and residents from black and brown communities with the necessary tools and resources to thrive as entrepreneurs.

In addition to his community-focused endeavors, Rush has launched a Charity Endurance team named the Refugee Life Foundation dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support refugees, both on a global scale and locally. This commitment to humanitarian causes reflects his unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of those in need.

Furthermore, Rush owns a media production company that is focused on creating impactful images and short films for non-profit organizations and civic leaders. Through the power of visual storytelling, he aims to amplify the voices of those working towards positive change and inspire others to get involved.

Despite his numerous achievements and professional endeavors, Rush’s family remains his top priority. He cherishes his role as a devoted husband to his wife of 23 years, Aziza, and a loving father to his two sons, Amir and Adam. Together, they are affectionately known as The A-Team, representing their strong bond and shared commitment to making the world a better place.
